This spiritual center was built by the religious order of the Discalced Carmelites. Located 5 km (3.10 miles) north of Valle de Bravo, the building stands out because of its modern architecture and elegant decoration. Open from Tuesdays to Sundays.

The Santa Maria Church
At Santa Maria, the faithful worship the Blackened Christ. This crucifix is revered because it was not burnt--it only became dark--as a result of a fire that destroyed everything else in the temple. It is located 2 blocks from the municipal dock.

This market sells locally manufactured ceramics, pottery, and drawn threadwork, among other products. It is located on the 16 de Septiembre Avenue.

The Monte Alto Ecological Reserve
A place for paragliding and hang-gliding, it also offers you a natural lookout from where to enjoy views of the city and the lake.
