Located 56 km (34.8 miles) southeast of Acapulco, this beach is perfect for horse-back riding and for enjoying Pescado a la Talla, a local dish where a whole fish is butterflied and basted with a sauce of chilies before being grilled over an open flame.

An 8 km (5 miles) descent down the Class II and Class II Plus rapids of the Papagayo River, on inflatable boats.

Located on the Costera Miguel Aleman Avenue, very close to the Naval Base, this is a place for betting, playing bingo, and enjoying a Jai Alai game. Bingo: daily, from 14:00 to 03:00 hrs; Jai Alai: Fridays and Saturdays, from 18:00 to 02:00. Tel. (744) 484-3163.

A famous show during which divers jump from dizzying heights (45 meters/148 feet) off La Quebrada into the sea. Daily shows at 12:30, 19:30, 20:30, 21:30, and 22:30 hrs.

Visit this spectacular beach and admire a most stunning sunset, only 10 km (6.2 miles) northeast of Acapulco.

With its peaceful waves and crystalline waters, Puerto Marques is an excellent cove for all aquatic sports.

In Acapulco, you can go clubbing from sunset to dawn. Preferred nightspots include Baby O, Mandara, Zucca, Alebrije, and Palladium, among many others.
