La Valenciana Mine
Mina de Valenciana
Still in operation today, La Valenciana was once the richest mine in the city. The silver extracted from this mine helped support the Spanish Empire and its colonies between the 18th and 19th centuries.

The San Gabriel de Barrera Ex-Hacienda Museum
Museo Ex hacienda San Gabriel de Barrera
Formerly a hacienda, this museum features a variety of paintings and pieces of furniture from the 17th century, as well as impressive gardens in different styles (Moorish, English, Spanish...). Tel. The Hidalgo Market
